There definitely is originality as toward the execution of the work put into it.
This artist knows how to offer an impact to the eye, and no doubt knows that there is always room for improvement, hence the request for critique.
Since we cannot satisfy all, and no doubt this artist will not satisfy all artists on DA, I shall end by saying that I would really like to see more of this concept and technique from this particular artist, and am in expectation that may be, after the sufficient feedback ends.
Well done. I enjoyed this work of art that well motivated me to write this short critique, which till now, I have not done on any other piece of art.

esp the skin tones, it has that life feel to it, but at the same time its got a hint of death, truly beautiful
